I hope so. But after committing money to Reynolds, will they? And if they offer, will he want to stay?

If, like McCutchen and Reynolds, he likes it here, and if he believes the organization is committed to winning, Cherington has a good chance to keep him. But Nutting has to give BC the money to make a legitimate offer. The club has to be serious. It takes two sides to get it done.

A year ago, almost everyone felt the way you did. Just about all of us were fed up with him. He's completely reversed course.

Wow a complete game by a MLB pitcher is rare these days but for a Pirate it's down right amazing.

Keller is now 10th in the NL in ERA and 3rd in strikeouts.
