As well as things were going eight days ago, they’ve been going that badly since. The travails of a baseball season. The highs don’t last long enough, the lows never seem to end.

It’s pretty evident that Delay needs to be getting the bulk of the starts behind the plate, at least until his bat cools off. The line-up needs him in there right now. The difference between how he catches a game, and Hedges catches one, can’t be that big.

Yea gotta this series against Colorado these next 3 days. The Rockies aren’t a very good team and you beat them up pretty good a few weeks ago in Denver. You gotta get 2 out of 3 in this series coming up and at least get some confidence back. I will really start to worry about this team if the Rockies come in here and win this series because it won’t get any easier next weekend going to Baltimore to play the Orioles.

I agree Delay should be catching more then Hedges and it’s time here soon I think to start considering calling Endy Rodriguez up here and moving Henry Davis up to AAA. This team has options in the Minors use them and maybe consider trying something different when you haven’t won a game in over a week because what Shelton is doing now isn’t working.

Agree about bringing Endy here. I said a week ago that this season is still one where the emphasis should be on growing and preparing as many of the young guys as possible. Next season is when they should go all in to compete for a playoff spot. Getting Endy here now gives him a four plus months head start on ‘24.
And, if Nick Gonzales performs well over the next few weeks, get him here by June 1 to replace Castro at 2nd base. Castro makes it that much harder for the team to win. I don’t think he has a place here.

Luckily, it was an old television left behind by his brother who used to live with us. However, it was the one in the living room, so I'm going to actually have to buy one now to replace it.
