Hernandez a pitcher rated the Phils 29 best prospect, and Gutierrez a catcher hitting.285 this season. Both players are in Low A ball.

Anderson will probably pitch against the bucs when the Phillies come here next Friday

The return is not overwhelming. Possible high upside prospects.

But Anderson is only a 2 month rental so you have to take that into consideration. With the 2021 draft signings and 7 new prospects coming over in trades; it’s going to be tough to rate the Pirates new Top 30 Prospect list

The Phils minor leaggue system isn't very robust. If Hernandez is the 29th ranked player, and is low A, that's telling IMO.

Hopefully, it's another example of Dave Dombrowski casting off good young talent for veteran players to win now, like he's done in the past.

Per the Tribune Review:

Hernandez, who was ranked the Phillies’ No. 25 prospect by Baseball America and No. 29 by MLB.com, has a fastball that sits at 93-94 mph and touches 97 and a slider and changeup.

Gutierrez, 21, is a right-handed hitter who batted .285/.418/.424 with nine doubles, five home runs and 29 RBIs at Low A Clearwater. The 6-2, 214-pounder from Venezuela was ranked the Phillies’ No. 27 prospect by Baseball America.

Hernandez, Gutierrez and Marcano all 21 and all from Venezuela.

Not that it's significant, but it caught my attention that we're loading up on young Venezuelans.
