as reported by John Dreker at Pirates Prospects

Go figure, he is another "multi-position" guy who draws a lot of walks>

Are these auditions for 2nd base? They don't need another starter for a while, so a position player makes sense. But why bring up Moroff who's scuffling at the plate this year, especially recently, when Bell would be a much better bat off the bench? Surely, they don't need the MiF depth.

Seems like they could have done this for Saturday's game, if Brault was going down? Maybe they got some report on Kuhl, Glasnow, or Vogelsong that will have one of them take a start?

Why Moroff? Maybe someone they know will be here for just one game, so they can send him down for ten days without sweating that he might be needed?

Or perhaps Frazier? For a second baseman he hasn't played there much while with the team. He might have appeal for a team looking for someone ML ready.

Looks like they brought someone up just to ride the bench. Bell needs to play. If they aren't ready to bench Jaso or Freese, then Bell isn't coming up.

The management of this roster right now by both Huntington and Hurdle in terms of both positions players and pitchers flat out sucks.
