Reynolds out at 3B. Pirates can’t get out of their own way. Can anyone here play this game?

Reynolds, my goodness. I don’t expect idiotic baserunning by him.
It’s contagious. First he is watching the ball too long, then he rounds second by almost going as far out as to where the SS plays. Then makes a poor decision to continue to third and gets nailed

How many runners did Suwinski leave stranded. I think it was 7.
Struck out 4 times and popped out once. Terrible execution.

Valdez was credited with a double even tho Reynolds was out going from 1B to 3B. Reynolds should have made it but I don't see how they can credit Valdez with a 2-base hit when the runner ahead of him didn't make 2 bases on it. I thought Valdez would only get a single and get 2B on the throw that cut down Reynolds at 3B. But Reynolds' TOOBLAN shows the disconnect between Shelton's "winning in the margins" comment and how the team actually performs. They have no margin for error and continually shoot themselves in the foot by playing foolishly.

You guys want too much. If they hadn't prepared so well in the offseason, and Nutting hadn't provided them with all the resources he had to give, there'd have been many more thrown out on the bases last night. It's time to be thankful for what we have and not be so greedy.

I have always liked him however as Chuck Noll would say, "it's
time to get on with his life"s work. The bucs have given him
every possible chance. At this point, they would get nothing for him.
