Indy gets crushed 11-0 in their first game. Ashcraft 3.1 IP 3 ER, Nicolas 1.0 IP, 3ER.
Indians managed 4 hits, one each by Cook (2B) Yorke, Cheng, and Nunez.
Just thought I'd add that to the sh*t sandwich we got with the Pirates this weekend.

The Indy Indians are on Sports Net Pittsburgh this afternoon and they are winning 6-0. Chandler pitched only 2.2 innings but did not give up any runs. Nick Yorke has 2 doubles, DJ Stewart and Matt Gorski have gone back to back in the third. I really believe Yorke needs to come to Pittsburgh and play.

Cook did hit a couple homers when he came up in late September last year, but he also struck out several times. I like him as well as Yorke, and hope they both hit the cover off the ball and force the FO to bring them up. Cook is a very good defensive player which he did show last September.

Nick Yorke hit another double in the second game of the Indy doubleheader today. Darn Pirates are so stubborn by having him at AAA. If they feel his defense is lacking they could start him, and if they have a lead in the late innings put Frazier in at second base. They lack hitting, and Yorke appears could help that sick lineup.
