It is a good move because he has not been very good going back to last season. It is tough because he is a local guy from Mars , Pa but if he gets back to normal it is a perfect move.

Gotta say that is a pretty bold move but would have liked to have kept Delay or trade rather than dfa. Should have dfa'd Bae after the base running bonanza Sunday

I thought catchers were a rare commodity in MLB, so I'm pretty shocked Delay was DFA. I'm guessing someone will put in a claim, and they'll trade him. Delay has shown he can handle being in the big leagues. The way they've been handling him reminds me of how they treated Stallings all those years.
