"Best hitter in the world"? Well, he doesn't lack confidence.

I got to see Termarr Johnson play last night in an AFL game. He’s a thick-set young man. I was surprised at how filled out his body is already. He swings the bat really well. He rifled a double to right in four at bats. But there were times he looked disinterested.

That is a little scary if he appears to be disinterested at times. We need players with good attitudes. This would be the Pirates luck, #1 pick Davis has the attitude but struggles with hitting while #1 Johnson can handle the bat but his attitude stinks.

If only all the players in the Pirates system had that mentality......

Impressive young pitchers. With the starters on the Pirates roster, and these youngsters, some number of them will have to be used to acquire bats, because we don’t seem to have any of those.
