Series starts in Los Angeles on Friday. You can change your picks up to noon Friday. It's just a good round number, I work Thursday night so before I lay down for a nap, we'll have it all set.
Also, pick the total number of home runs between the two teams for the entire series as a tiebreaker. The closest without going over will be recognized as the World Series Home Run Champion, so we all have a chance at winning something even if we don't win the actual contest. The winners get absolutely nothing except bragging rights and a years worth of adulation. Just like the team you want, you can change your number up till noon Friday.
Good luck!!
surgnbuck-Yankees. They have the best starting pitcher with Gerrit Cole who will certainly go two, if not possibly three games. I also think their bullpen has the superior former Pirate in Clay Holmes, over the Dodgers Anthony Banda. I think Soto/Judge/Stanton is slightly superior to Ohtani/Betts/Freeman simply because Freeman isn't 100%. I predict a 7 game series. I predict 35 home runs.

I’m going with the Dodgers in six or seven games. I’ll say 27 HRs in total.

I too thought it started in NY but then remembered LA had more wins.Doc wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 2:52 pmWhen I wrote this last night, the mlb.com site showed that the Series was starting in NY. Now it’s showing it begins in LA. This was obviously a conspiracy plotted against me personally by the commissioner to besmirch my good name. Rest assured I’ll be seeing him in court.bucs607179 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:47 amSay what? They start Friday on West Coast and fly to the East Coast next day and play.
I think you got that wrong!
