Bauers with a one out HR in the 2nd. Two more runs and they might as well invoke the mercy rule.

The Bucs manage four foul balls in the 2nd as all three batters strikeout. I’m loving the progress. 1-0 HBs through two.

Bucs go three up, three down for the third time. Only one strikeout that inning so there’s that. Peralta barely breaking a sweat as he’s thrown only 36 pitches through three.

Ortiz gives up a leadoff single but nothing else. Still 1-0 Hated Brewers through three and a half. Bucs still looking or their first base runner.

IK-F opens the fourth with a single.

Couple more whiffs for the Bucs in the 4th as IK-F is left stranded at third. At least we won’t suffer a second straight day of organizational embarrassment by being no hit. Still 1-0 HBs.

Nice inning by Ortiz as he gets two strikeouts on six pitches, and a groundout to Triolo at first. Frelick, who’s showing initial signs of being a Pirates killer, did have a single but that was it. Still 1-0 midway through five.

Two out walks to Grandal and Yorke, followed by a double by Peggy, and the Bucs have themselves a 2-1 lead.

The stinky bottom 3 put the Bucs ahead 2-1.

Double for Peguero. Too bad Tellez didn't get within 4 PAs of that bonus a month ago.
