Official Game Thread - 9/8 - Bucs vs Nats

Post by Possum »

Nats

1 SS CJ Abrams L
2 LF James Wood L
3 DH A. Chaparro R
4 2B Luis Garcia L
5 C Keibert Ruiz S
6 3B Jose Tena L
7 RF Dylan Crews R
8 1B Joey Gallo L
9 CF Jacob Young R
SP Patrick Corbin L

Bucs

1 3B I. Kiner-Falefa R
2 LF B. Reynolds S
3 C Joey Bart R
4 DH A. McCutchen R
5 2B N. Gonzales R
6RF B. De La Cruz R
7 1B Billy Cook R
8 CF M. Taylor R
9 SS A. Williams R
SP Jared Jones

We have one of our prayers answered. Billy Cook is at 1B. O'neil Cruz sits against the left Corbin. I can't figure out Shelty's shitty lineup construction. Triolo should be a 3B and IKF at SS rather than Williams.

Well, even though he was late, I see Possum is a die hard. Agree on Triolo.
Another in a season long bozo moves by Shelton.

Pretty impressive (and memorable) first inning for Cook. An impressive defensive display and then the two-run double. Something to remember, for him and for his parents.

I can see by the number of comments on today's thread that Apathy
has indeed set in. Also some of you were watching the Steelers as I did.
19 games to go. After the Marlin series, the schedule gets tough.
