BDLC with the daily double, is the last out for both games. Too bad the strikeout didn't come in the first game, they would have had another shot.

So had to work, went to first game left in 6th ee was still no hit. Drove home put on the Pitt game. Glad I did!

Flipped to Pirates, it was now 4-2 heading bottom of 8th. Thought they were gonna pull it out. Then Bednar came in gives up a run. I was dozing off trying to get couple hours nap, but bases loaded, one out one in!

Then BDLC.

At work, patient wanted game on. 4-2 Bucs! Very next pitch, the first pitch we saw after turning in game- 2 run HR.

Bucs take lead! 6-4! Patient wants to go to bed. I get call and have to go to other unit.

Come to office to check score.

Needless to say, the Pirates have not been kind to me last few days!

Chapman has contracted the Bednar disease.

This practice is so widespread on the team that I can only assume the players know it's approved by Shelton. Maybe he told them to make sure they don't hurt themselves when they think they'll be out anyway. I dunno. It's a very bad look but it is the norm for the team.

for me the Bucs made one day seem as bad as a ten game losing streak.
