Raise It- Surge saw a good one.
Thanks to Bobster I got to watch it on the computer. Called my daughter
to ask her how to listen to it on the MLB Radio.
She has Apple + and gave me her password
Very good announcers for a change,
Bednar never makes it easy
Chapman was lights out

Just wondering why Taylor wasn't in the game in the later inningsWildwoodcoach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 1:39 am Raise It- Surge saw a good one.

Can’t forget De La Cruz, IK-F, and McKinney putting the ball in play to drive home runs. Too many times we see strikeouts in those at bats. That was good stuff by those three. It meant a win.

Glad you got to see it. And it sounds like Apple improved their broadcast. When I last saw it 2 years ago it was insufferable.Wildwoodcoach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 1:39 am Raise It- Surge saw a good one.

The runner trying to move up from first on a fly ball to CF might be as dumb a move as I've seen in a while. However, in his defense, the Reds obviously were pushing the running game tonight, and sometimes you get a little overzealous.
It was great to see the Bucs do some running, notably Bart running and getting to third on the hit. The defense was solid tonight, a lot of outs on the base paths. Productive outs, timely hits, shutdown relief. Santana needs a lot of love, after the Bucs get back into the game, he shuts the Reds down completely, and the Pirates kept that momentum.
If there ever was a definition of a team win, tonight was a clinic.
Really a shame Cruz's double bounced into the stands because everyone was on their feet when the LF went into the slide and the ball was no where near him, we were hoping for a bounce off the wall and an inside the park HR.
I didn't see any comments about the strike zone, so I'm guessing it was solid. Not sure why the replay took so long on the tag at third, it was very clearly an out. IDK if there was some sort of communication issue. The umpires looked a little confused on the field for a bit.
Very pleasant night at the park.

Turns out it was a good game. Would have been exciting to watch.
Don't understand why they were on Apple TV. You'd think they would want to showcase the better clubs??

Regarding Santana, when he first got here, he was a little shaky. Has looked very good lately. Possibility another good pickup for BenSurgnbuck wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 3:09 am The runner trying to move up from first on a fly ball to CF might be as dumb a move as I've seen in a while.
