After Robles’ single, the Mariners have half as many hits as they do at bats.

I am trying to find something else to do instead of watching this.
Hopefully, I can just doze off

It’s now 8-0 Mariners in the 5th. If only baseball had gone full beer league softball and instituted the 10-run rule.

Bart gets HR #12 and RBIs 35 and 36. Only 5 Pirates have more RBIs. He trails Tellez by only 6.

It’s imperative that he’s not having a fluke season. If not, it allows BC to have a couple of options with Henry Davis, converting him to a first baseman or a full time DH. Davis has to be able to hit, otherwise he’s of no help.

Joey Bart is my current favorite Pirate until he is gone. Not like the past when your favorite player could be on the team his entire career.

Agree doc, Bart continues to impress. I think he was under a lot of pressure when
he was drafted. I think it was in the second round. He was touted as the next Buster Posey.
That expectation would be tough on most players. He was under no pressure coming to Pittsburgh.
