IKF will be making his 3rd career start batting cleanup. Shelton's a genius.

I see Grandal is still making the decisions as to whom he Catches. Day off yesterday
and Bart who I believe has the highest BA on the team sits.

Wondwer what Skenes is going to do when Grandal is gone Sept. 1

It just might be better if Skenes hit instead of Grandal. Or Taylor for that matter. What the heck, why not for both?

The game is on Apple TV so they are saving me from myself. I made the mistake of watching one of those games when it was free. I would never pay for it. Their broadcast team makes you long for Joe Block.

Let's Go Bucs!!!!!

The last time the Bucs were victorious, it was August 3rd and I held a birthday party for Mister Man.

I'm back tonight armed only with myself. I'll have to rely on Skenes. Tonight, the streak ends.

I can't say how disappointed I am that there were no moves made. For three reasons:

1. When rosters expand, it's only by 2 players now. And that's what we'll see.
2. We could have expanded our roster per se, by dumping at least Grandal, Taylor, and Tellez, and given an extra two weeks to the call up replacements.
3. The most obvious reason would have been to fire Shelton. Call it what you will, a scape goat, a shake up, etc. Something had to be done.

Maybe BC feels some heat that we're not aware of, and is simply going down with the ship.

Wildwood, the M's manager is Scott Servis. Glad you asked me about that.

I think BC and DS are both in PYA mode. BC won't make changes because he won't admit the roster he assembled stinks. DS is providing the BS, er I mean the excuses: it's just bad luck, the other teams are good, the other pitchers executed their pitches. There's nothing wrong with the Pirates. Their pitchers just failed to execute their pitches. Their hitters just failed to have good ABs.
