From what we've briefly seen so far it's hard to understand why he was so bad as a starter for half a season last year. But easy to understand why he was so dominant in the BP the other half.

SRod should be DFA'd today and Moroff called up.

There are 5 million reasons, plus a bust named Connor Joe as to why we haven't already moved on.

Mercer was a late scratch for being sick which is why Sean Rod is starting. Even so can’t JHay play short one game and Frazier play 2nd I mean how much worse could they be the Rodriguez both in the field and at the plate.

Bucs are Hurdling toward losing 13 of 17. Musgrove's dominance was short lived. Really great to have Bell hitting 4th and Musgrove being the best bet to get a hit from the bottom 3rd of the order.

Josh Bell continues to just look terrible at the plate. The Pirates better hope this is just a short term one year kind of slump for Bell because if it’s not they have a huge huge problem on their hands. Bell simply has to be better for the Pirates moving forward. The Pirates can’t afford for him to be as bad as he is so far this season moving forward.

Cant afford for him to be as bad as he is?? They realistically can't even afford for him to be what he was last year, let alone this trash production he's putting up now.

At least he made an above average play on a hard hit ball today. I guess there's that.

You don't build a team core with a replacement level first baseman. Osuna should be getting time while Bell tries to figure this out.
