I would like it if the Pirates recalled IKF, and purchased the contract of Nick Yorke. They could send down Williams and Triolo and rest Hayes for a couple days so both new players could be included in the starting lineup. I think both these players would be a boost to the lineup.

IKF injured his knee and has been sidelined since June 30. When the trade was made he was on a rehab in the Toronto system. The Pirates transferred him to Altoona to complete his rehab. As soon as he's ready, he'll be activated. I suspect Williams will be optioned at that time.
There's no basement in the Alamo.

Can't read the article without an ESPN+ subscription.

With little ability to bring any players to the major league team who are better than what we have this season, being 21st should come as no surprise.
