Shelton‘s addiction to two strike bunting seems to be an example of concrete thinking. When he decides that a bunt is preferred, there’s no consideration for whether or not the player can do it, as well as the increased possibility of an out with two strikes. He just doesn’t seem to think things through or consider the likelihood of success or failure. It often seems that they make decisions that suggest winning is not a priority. They just do things to do them.
