Josh Palacios hitting .407 over the past week. What is BC waiting for. Bring him up and rid ourselves of Suwinski and Taylor

Indy is playing tonight and Palacios is not in the lineup. I kind of wonder if he will be in Pittsburgh tomorrow. As you noted he has been very hot, and it is surprising he is not starting tonight. If he comes up I bet Suwinski goes down. They won’t cut Taylor, and eat the remainder of his contract.

Palacios did pinch hit in the ninth. I guess my assumption about him joining the Pirates is incorrect.

Pirates organization even wants lower level managers to give rest to players that are doing well. It is a written policy.

Not really excited about Palacios and he has only played a few games this season, he must have been hurt But something needs to be done and would rather bring up LambBeer to give the overworked Tellez a break then Joe can just play OF. Give Bae another shot also. Hell Alika can hit better than Triolo.

Bae needs to be given another shot, now. He just demolishes AAA. Oh my how great, if it would just carry over I have not been a fan of him in MLB.But he is exactly what Pirates need . Cut those K down and he is a beast. He could be valuable in trade also .

Wednesday afternoon - Indians being broadcast on the Pittsburgh channel. I saw Nunez get a hit and I saw them convert a double play. Interesting game. Peguero at short.

Peguero seems to be forgotten. He may well be a trade candidate this month.

Not a good display. They had no offense to show for it most of the afternoon. It was 3 - 1 Columbus in the 9th and the Indians loaded the bases with an error and two walks. From there it was a harmless short fly ball and two strikeouts. I think Davis went 0 - 4 with four strikeouts (not positive on that but the two I saw were legitimate, swing though the fastball type). Bae was hitting .367 before the one at bat of his I saw (a fly out to left). Beyond him (on a stat basis, not because of anything I saw), there's not much to look to there for help in Pittsburgh.
