I have to laugh. Vinny Capra the 2023 Buc failure is batting 9th for the Brewers. Maybe they are giving the Bucs just a smidgen of a chance to win the game after seeing the lineup Shelty has for the game.

It’s so glaring every night that this team lacks guys who can hit in the 3rd and 4th spots in the order. But, as we know, those guys cost lots of money. Bob Nutting, it was revealed today, has no money to acquire anyone, let alone those kinds of hitters. (He does, of course, he’s just lying as he always does.) So be prepared for the team to be sellers yet again later this month, in spite of having three starters most teams are envious of.

Man, Connor Joe is going to end up on a milk carton soon. I thought Milwaukee was one of Cutch's best places to hit. Then again, he had such a good run as an elite player, probably has great numbers in every NL Central park.

I keep thinking Hayes is injured still, but there he is.
