Riley with a solo HR to lead off the 2nd. Wouldn’t be nice to have him in our line-up?

No more damage in the 2nd. Perez already over 40 pitches. This is going to end up like a bullpen game if he doesn’t have a couple of quick innings.

probably should consider Perez's first start back as an opener type game. I worry Shelton has him inked in for 5 innings come hell or high water.

Ozuna with a bases clearing double. 4-0 Braves. Not looking good.

Perez is picking up right where he left off before the injury. His ERA for May was 7.54.

It’s easy to be fooled by the Pirates performance in Cinci where they showed well in two of the games, especially when we see how they fare against one of baseball’s best teams. Comparing the Braves line-up with the Pirates is no comparison at all. The difference is so stark, and that’s without Acuna.

We have three players who make a difference - all pitchers. If they give up more than two runs, there’s a good chance they still can’t help the team win. This is very frustrating and exasperating.

The Pirates' only hit is a ground ball by Hayes past the shortstop.
