We've heard references to guys "pooping the bed" when they screw-up but actually throwing up on the mound is a new one. I feel a little badly for him because he's going to be forever remembered for this, even if he has a long career of being a dominating pitcher. Too bad this didn't happen to a Brewer.

Guy has a career 1.55 ERA against the Pirates. The Reds are 0-6 though in his career starts against the Bucs.

Dude can't catch a break against Pittsburgh. He's the one that was saddled for the loss when the Pirates won 1-0 despite being no hit.

Figured he was going to be sick afterwards no matter how he pitched, might as well get it out of the way.

I wondered about that myself. And if a ball was hit up the middle, would anyone want to field it?

Not a major league story but a prospect named Hogan Windish hit four HRs the other night for the Double A Arkansas Travelors.
