A major problem with the Pirate broadcasts is the producers. In the 2nd inning, Block talks about the Palacios brothers and good games they both had last year when Joshua was with the Pirates. And the production team has videos ready to go of both brothers' highlights from last year. So this wasn't just random talk by Block. This was planned for when Richie came to bat tonight. But Joshua isn't even with the Pirates this year. This was no reason for this filler material during the inning. But the producers just won't let the game speak for itself and think we need all these other features.

Baseball uniforms are becoming ridiculous again, like they did in the 1970s. I so admire the Yankees for keeping it traditional. I see that they’ve even gone back to the gray unis they wore prior to about 1980. They’re so sharp because they’re so simple, so classic.
