Brown and Walk turn the Hayes HR unto a comedy routine. Yep, that's what baseball fans want to see.

Thank you, Greg Brown, for pointing out the irony of LodOLO pitching to TriOLO. It made that moment special.

Bucs held to the Hayes homer in the 7th. Now 2-1 Reds. Falter was terrific over seven innings, making just one mistake. Mlodzinski in for the 8th.

What a pleasant surprise Falter has been. Sadly, giving up 2 runs will probably mean a loss.

The talk is if this team has a legit shot at the playoffs, or actually, if they are a legit threat if they make the playoffs.

It's not going to change, they strikeout way too much. They are going to have to rely on more guys getting their act together if they have even a sniff of a chance to take a wild card.

As Tellez, Cutch, Reynolds heat up, Joe/Triolo/Grandal/Suwinski/Taylor/Olivares/Hayes scuffle. Gonzo looks like he's trying to do too much right now.

Once again, we're back to square one, where it was pretty much Connor Joe carrying the team, then Gonzo came up and injected some life, Tellez started hitting, but we can't seem to get more than 3 guys who aren't slumping.

Cutch makes a rookie mistake on the bases. This team never ceases to amaze.

Cutch has always been a horrific baserunner. That was pure stipidity

There's only one out, if he can't score from first on a double, we're second and third one out.

Reds outfield defense has really been on point tonight though

We can only hope Gonzo keeps playing at a big league level for the rest of his Pirates tenure. I know it's early, but I think he's found himself. He's going to strikeout a lot, but if he can keep being a run producer from second base, that's dessert man
