Sometimes I look at the lineup real quick, and I think, "Wouldn't it be better to bat Mlodzinski ahead of Suwinski and Davis?" and then I remember, the pitchers don't hit anymore.

Keep in mind folks, to the Rockies, we're a test, and a feather in their cap if they beat us.

We and us meaning actual people from this board playing, not the Pirates.

I think it’d be better if Mlodzinski were to hit not “ahead” of Suwinski and Davis but “instead” of Suwinski and Davis. Now, because I said that, Suwinski will have a couple of hits tonight, including a HR.

The box score on Gameday is showing Cruz out of tonight’s line-up. He’s been replaced by Triolo.

Gonzales and Tellez follow with singles. Rowdy’s going to get himself traded if he keeps this up.

Hayes grounds into a double play. Didn’t he get himself straightened out last year with regard to improve his hitting? His .239 average is showing it didn’t work.

Mlodzinski gives up a one out single but that’s all the Rockies get. 1-0 Bucs after one.

Question? Wouldn't it be better if Gonzales would play SS where he has played
instead of Triolo where he hasn't played this year. However, who am I to question
the genius of Shelton?
