Just started following the game. I hope to heck no Pirates pitching coach ever says a word to Skenes the whole time he’s here.

This team is an enigma. Just when I’m about to say I’ve had enough they go and do what they did last night and are doing so far today. But I don’t think I’ve changed my mind about sending Suwinski down, moving McCutchen to the bench, and releasing Tellez. Those are moves that will make the team better.

Guy is awesome to watch. 100 pitches on the nose and the ump was not helpful.

He will be great for some team.

I’m guessing Shelton will remove Skenes after six innings and 100 pitches. He was much better today by looking at his pitching line: no runs, no hits, one walk, 11 strikeouts, two thirds of his pitches for strikes. This guy is really, really special.
