Kennedy had a brain worm and admitted it.

I like Falter, hope he has a game!

Keller/Jones/Skenes/Falter Bucs going to 4 man rotation and they will shock the world. Just kidding but one can dream. By the way , they all need to pitch 8 and 2/3 innings each start for any chance of this. ;)

There is always the chance that Suwinski and Tellez might run into a pitch, but I just don’t like it when Williams is in the lineup. He is a given out!

Per the PG: With Taylor and Tellez in particular, Cherington said underlying skills such as bat speed and how they’re each hitting the ball are in line with their career figures.

Typical Cherington. He's not looking at productivity. He's using analytics to look at "underlying skills such as bat speed and how they’re each hitting the ball." The problem is that their "career figures" are poor.

Cruz makes it 2-1 Cubbies. Great catch by guy in stands on Cruz HR.

I guess after starting 2 games, Gonzales needed a day off. And that gives Shelton an opportunity to start Williams, who they had decided to option before Hayes was put on IL. You would think the guy they recalled to help the offense would start ahead of the guy they were optioning. Buit not the brain trust of the Pirates. Sundays are days for deliberately weakening the lineup.

I hate to say I called it, but everyone else could say the same thing. Taylor FINALLY starting to sting the ball, but, have to play the lefty against the righty.

Gonzales took what probably was the best and most critical AB yesterday drawing the walk in front of Grandal. Of course, We have to sit him, because two games is just too much after being recalled. What exactly is he being sat for in favor? They're both right handed hitters, of course Alika Williams has a better chance of getting ahold of a mistake than Gonzo.

Good thing Tellez has the bat speed going, otherwise the catcher would have fielded his tapper instead of the pticher.

The sooner they get a manager that will play the guys who should be playing, the better. But I'm starting to wonder if it has to be a package deal for this to happen.

FWIW, maybe these guys will turn it around and quit being our whipping boys. Remember how that happened with Falter, who has now given another stellar performance?

Can Tellez contribute here?

I can't effing stand Tellez.....how the world can you watch that pitch?

Thank goodness for Joe. Triolo gets bailed out with another of his useless AB's by some heads up baserunning. Joe I think gambled the RF would be surprised he's running, along with having a weak arm and his momentum going in a way he had to take a step or two extra just to set his feet for the throw.

Suwinski, Tellez, Triolo, Williams my lawd, how do the Pirates not have something better in the minors to replace these bums?

Sadly, as Cherington noted, Tellez is hitting the ball in line with his career figures. :(
