Can anybody try and be "the man" and carry the offense? Cutch watches two strikes, shaking his head about one of them that was a strike. Reynolds gets hosed on a call for sure, but questions one over the heart of the plate he doesn't swing at. Why should the ump know the strike zone if he doesn't?

This is just pathetic this offense. Someone has to break out of it at some point don't they?

Looked like a terrible strike call on Reynolds with the ball well above the pitch trak box. I'm all for robo ball/strike calls but the box displayed on the screen never moves. A batter can be short or tall, or bat from a crouch or upright position and the box never moves. I replayed that call on Reynolds and stopped it as the strike was called. The ball is in line with the box on the inner edge of the plate but well above the box. But the top of the box appears to be about in line with Reynolds' belly button and the ball appears to be no higher than the letters, if that. From the umpire's POV, the strike call seems reasonable. But judging by the stationary box, it looks like a bad call. I don't know how they do the robo calls in the minors but the pitch location should be in relation to the batter and not the superimposed box that doesn't move.

Jones pitches out of a two on, nobody out situation in the 4th. He doesn’t seem to have that excellent control we’ve seen so far, although he’s tossing two thirds of his pitches for strikes. Am I that greedy? Still 2-1 Bucs.

Grandal grounds into a double play. Where’s a strikeout when we need it?

Bellinger ties the game with a two out double. Sure would’ve been nice having him in our line-up instead of Taylor or Tellez, but I digress.

Reynolds with a single knocking Assad from the game. Ben Brown on to pitch for the Cubs.

Bellinger didn't get an RBI for that. Runner was out by a mile at home and Grandal dropped the throw.

Bucs can’t score with two on and one out as Tellez pops out and Gonzales decides to be like the rest of his mates by striking out on three pitches, two of which looked out of the zone.

Grandal doing his best to fit right in, then.
