BC said that by later today they woud finish interviews and finalize the roster. If Holmes is kept, then who leaves the 40 man? If he's not kept, does he become a free agent?

Getting back to the game, excellent Pirate pitching or was the Twins' lineup that weak? I see some very difficult decisions regarding the 14 pitchers on the final roster.

Yes, I'm back but about 2 hours west of Chitown. Several years ago there was a man who would attend ST and write daily reports on a message board but I dont remember who and where. Would love to attend a Cub/Pirate game...beers on me!! Stay in touch Possum and thanks.

I agree with fjk about a veteran presence, especially during ST when many of the youth will be present. Need to provide wisdom with a light touch, such as the pitchers' flowing locks from last year.
