My guy Connor Joe goes yard. He must have been pissed off that he didn't play yesterday.

After one week of games, Connor Joe has been the best player so far. It’s unlikely he’ll maintain his pace but he’s been the major reason for the team picking up these first six wins of the year (pending today). He’s been outstanding.

Perez goes six and two thirds and was mostly efficient. Ortiz gets the last out in the 7th. Bucs still lead 7-2. I wouldn’t mind a few more runs.

Triolo and Taylor with one out singles. Taylor has been a terrific addition. Cruz up.

Runners at second and third with one out, and Cruz strikes out. Only one of six pitches was in the strike zone. Reynolds intentionally walked and Hayes grounds out. Blame that inning on Cruz. 7-2 Bucs heading into the bottom of the 8th.

Ortiz walks two and both score on singles. 7-4 Bucs with two out in the 8th. I’m officially nervous.
