Post by Possum »

Cards

SS Masyn Winn R
RF A. Burleson L
DH W. Contreras R
3B N. Arenado R
1B P. Goldschmidt R
2B B. Donovan L
CF D. Carlson S
LF L. Nootbaar L
C Pedro Pages R
SP M. Liberatore L

Bucs

DH A. McCutchen R
LF B. Reynolds S
1B Connor Joe R
2B N. Gonzales R
SS Oneil Cruz L
3B K. Hayes R
C Joey Bart R
RF J. Palacios L
CF M. Taylor R
SP Martin Perez L

At least Shelty has Bart at C. Hayes or Triolo at 3B, who gives a rat's arse. As for Taylor, he stinks.

When Bart is the best hitter among the last four hitters, that's a problem. It's actually quite amazing that the Pirates have won as many games as they have while playing with half a line-up.

Man I hope we don't see the Cards steal another series from the Bucs, especially at home.

I'd hate to start the 6 game trip at .500. Arizona and Houston about same as us record wise. 3-3 would probably be a blessing.

MLB seems to be making those $$$ on Skenes gear. I see all those youngsters and adults with his jersey. Imagine I'll see them a lot cheaper on ebay couple years from now.

Hope Reynolds back is just a minor problem.

The Bucs have won 6 games this season while scoring only 1 or 2 runs. If the pitching was not so good, those would have been losses and the 51-50 record would be 45-56. With the lack of hitting, I doubt anyone would be surprised if they had been 45-56 at this point.

Reynolds is a late scratch with back spasms.
