Is Cruz on the bench because a lefty is pitching? That’s nuts. He’s supposed to be a future star and he’s being platooned? The decisions made by the people in charge are so upside down.

I think they just wanted to give him a little work before the AS break. He'll pitch in the game on Tuesday, which only gives him 3 days rest.
