Every Pirate on the roster is scrambling to look at their contracts to see if they can get screwed somehow.

Reynolds, Keller, and Hayes are wondering why they ever signed, and there won't be a free agent who will be willing to sign withe Bucs unless its a straight salary deal. They won't agree to any bonuses because they will believe they'll never attain them.

Skenes, Cruz, and Jared Jones are officially counting the days until they can leave......

This transaction has set the club back years, in that they will have no credibility at all.

Jackasses...all for $200,000

There is only 1 jackass and that is the greedy owner. If he tells the GM and manager he wants the player released what can they do ? It has set the team back in years. I am happy they are getting national attention by ESPN etc. The ownership is a joke!

Surg, you can rant all day, everyday.

Your rants are epic, and you deserve to vent whenever, however you want. I doubt anyone on this board (or any of the other forums we've shared) has been more loyal to this team than you.

Keep up the good work!

Just another step in the tear-down of a team coming off 3 straight post-season appearances.

The ongoing theme in any Pirates transaction - penny wise and dollar foolish.

What does it mean when he's added to the taxi squad? He's just with the team in the event of emergency?

I am guessing he is the starting pitcher on Sunday. They will have to make a roster move to add him to the 28 man roster. He is currently on the 40 man roster so that transaction is not necessary.
