Bucs are playing with us. Start out strong way back in April and now attempting to finish strong.

It is possible but I think it will come down to last series.

Losing to Nats, worse team we'll play from here on out is not helping this damn magic number. I want to clinch it against the Phillies.

All they need to do now is win one of the two games remaining against the Nationals, and win one game in every remaining series. I'd like the Bucs to close the gap with Cincy, as they both finished with the same record last season. They are 7.5 behind them, if they could get within 3 or 4 by the end of the season, I think that we could point to Oneil Cruz being out all that time for the spread.

get to 4 today!! Was hoping we clinch while playing Phillies but I'd have to root for them to lose a few now and won't do that.

2023 will be best won/loss since 2018.

Not sure but I think this season puts the Pittsburgh Pirates overall record since inception under .500. Before MLB went the way it went we were a long ways from it.

not yet according to Baseball reference: (if you count from 1882) Record: 10754-10725, .501 W-L%

from 1882 to 1899 the Pirates record was 1067-1227 with a few ties thrown in.
