Morton is not wild. His walk numbers are generally pretty good. But he's got so much movement on his pitches that he hits a lot of batters despite not walking many.

You remind me of the year the Pirates lost five guys in the first six picks of the Rule 5 Draft when Littlefield was the GM. Everyone around the league laughed and laughed at him, and Pirates fans went nuts. Of those five guys, only Jose Bautista ever amounted to anything, so it ended up being a big to do about nothing.

Contreras was designated for assignment by the Orioles today. He is really moving around this offseason.
