Cashner Shut Down Again

Just read that Andrew Cashner has again been shut down with biceps tendinitis. I thought over the winter he might have been a guy the Bucs may have attempted to sign. He got a one year ten million dollar contract from Texas, and now he will probably miss the early portion of the season. I think signing free agent pitchers is such a gamble because you never know if they are going to break down. Maybe the Bucs have the right idea with investing their resources in young and inexpensive pitchers.
