A little fun with a "What If" scenario based on a small sample size so far:
By all accounts a package of Austin Meadows, Tyler Glasnow and Josh Bell could have brought back Jose Quintana to the Bucs. Most folks including (I must assume) NH thought it was too great an ask by the Chisox. Here's a look at how the principals involved in that proposed deal are faring so far:
Meadows: BA .143 OBP .219 SLG .286 OPS .504
Bell: BA .138 OBP .219 SLG .207 OPS .426
Glasnow W 0 L 1 ERA 27.00 WHIP 5.40
Quintana W 0 L 2 ERA 6.17 WHIP 1.20
Looks like a quartet of losers so far......Ah the dangers of small sample sizes! ;D

I'm particularly disappointed in Bell. Agreed it's too early, but....

The Quintana Trade Today...
I think the real topic of conversation is, if the Bucs can get the ship trended in the right position despite early small sample size results....
should the Pirates FO be inquiring about buying low on Quintana?
a bad april and may wouldn't scare me off on such an under rated solid contributor like him.
he has the stuff, I believe Searage and a change of scenery could salvage him easy

The Quintana Trade Today...
Quintana now 0-3 with an era of 6.75 He keeps that up and his trade value will decline. If Glasnow could continue to show progress then there is no need for Quintana.
