Wainwright's previous start (6/17) was a disaster vs the Orioles:
1.2 IP, 7 H, 9 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 3 HRs.

The Pirates aren't the only team with problems. Tonight the Orioles have tied a MLB record by giving up 5 or more runs in 20 consecutive games.

He thought the first batter had hit a HR and didn't even turn around but Cutch caught it at the warning track. Next batter hits it out. That's our Hudson. ::)

Yep. I couldn't even get my first post out before a ball went all the way to the wall. I'm sending my first post as the 2nd batter goes deep.

Nice catch by Polanco, but Brownie and the Rock are acting like he just made the play of the year. On a nightly basis, I'd expect 29 of 30 RFers to make that play every time. It's only a miracle because it was polanco.

DeJong has shown power but 25 k's, 1 walk in 68 at bats coming in to tonight's game. Martinez 100 at bats on year.
Maybe Pirates should try Hudson as a starter. He is too dangerous in the bullpen to put in a close game. Has given up 6 homers, way too many for his number of innings.
