Polanco has been placed on the DL,and Diaz has been recalled from Indy.

The move that had to be done with a banged up Cervelli. Rodriguez and Frazier can platoon out there. Rodriguez is a very good fielder (one outfield error in his career).

I just don't understand what this organization is doing a lot of the time. They continue to do things that make no sense. This is going to be a very very bad offseason for this front office if they don't stop screwing around and start making some moves and spending more money. They are out of excuses now plain and simple.

How about trying to go get Granderson instead of doing a platoon that is average at best and continuing to give Jaso occasional starts in the outfield which you know Clint will continue to do every now and then . They already missed out on getting Jay Bruce and Walker.

And Stewart in the lineup instead of Diaz tonight...smh...

Of course Stewart is starting. So predictable and so moronic. Cervelli is hurt and can't play but he doesn't want to go on the DL so they bring Diaz up so that he can sit on the bench in case Stewart gets hurt, since Cervelli can't play. Brilliant use of our resources!

This is just wonderful.



Polanco, no surprise, is out for at least the next 10 games, which just happen to be at MIL, home to STL and home to the Dodgers.



Infielder Adam Frazier is starting in the outfield tonight, since the Pirates have decided that 2 outfielders is plenty.



Cervilli is hurt and Hurdle says he is out today and tomorrow, but he's not going to the DL because he doesn't want to, so we're going to play short-handed and start Stewart both days so that Diaz can sit on the bench.



This team is a dysfunctional mess.



I give them virtually no chance of winning a game in Milwaukee.



This is season is on the brink of coming to an end. An ugly end.

If all they want is a C to fill in a game if Stewart gets hurt why on just call up that Boorman kid again and let him get another at bat so he can perhaps end his MLB career batting .500
