This makes no sense whatsoever. Why not let the young kids play since this season is all but over. Also Benoit and LeBlanc were activated from the DL.

NH said they gave Nicasio away because they want to let some young pitchers get experience in high leverage situations. Yet Diaz, Osuna or Luplow will sit so that Stewart (.180) and Jaso (.223) can play. Yeah, sure, that's why they let Nicasio go. It's all about opportunities for young players.

Ah, but he didn't say young. He said pitchers who might help in 2018.

Jaso and Stewart have no business starting another game. They will not be back next yr and if NH were true to his word he tells Clint so. You also dont use LeBlanc, Benoit, and other vets who will not be here next season. Osuna as to play almost everyday and so does Diaz. and it would not hurt to throw luplow into the fire more often as well. We need to see how these kids can do in MLB.



Bobster is also correct about the AAA stars coming up. They need to finish their season and playoffs before sept call up I would think.
