Arietta appeared to have injured his leg. It didn't look good as he was leaving the mound. Huge blow to the Cubs if Arietta misses any significant amount of time.

The young kids have carried the team today. I like it, let's see what the young Bucs can do going into next season.

With rosters expanded and 17 pitchers on your Active Roster, just why do you go with a position player to pitch in an 8-0 game?
Maybe I try to hard to find reasons to dislike Maddon, but his little smirk when he was making that move ticked me off. I get when you need to do it, but in this instance, that is just disrespecting the game in my opinion.

Maybe the best game I have seen Kuhl pitch. He was outstanding. Good thing for Schwarber the minor league season is over-- Kuhl looked like he was in a mission to send him down.
