I can see Osuna, Serpico, in lineup cause of Quintana pitching. Serpico is like batting .500 or so against Quintana and Osuna might have a better time than Bell against Quintana. But Christ Freaking Stewart over Diaz? Looks like Cole will not be the worst hitter in the line up tonite.

Boy, not a very strong lineup from 5-9

It appears that Hurdle has decided that Stewart will get the starts when a 'veteran' is on the mound. Wrong headed, but it appears to typically be the case.

I know that there are not a lot of options with Frazier, Harrison and Polanco all on the DL, but it is encouraging that Luplow is again in the line-up and starting in RF.

I figured Stewart would catch tonight since Cole was pitching. He is almost like Cole's personal catcher.

I would like to personally thank Mr Nutting for ripping the heart out of baseball in Pittsburgh. Unreal how fast the city has figured this guy out.

Well, he hasn't exactly tried to hide his true motive. Once he reneged on his promise to spend when the time was right and decided to cut payroll and diminish the team when the time was right to spend more, it was obvious he no longer cared what the fans thought. Then the Liriano trade fiasco and now the Nicasio fiasco. He's done everything but ride thru the streets with a loudspeaker announcing that he doesn't give a crap about anything but profit.

Sixth time in a row. I expected Stewart to start. Cole requests him.

Looks like a very light turnout for Clemente Night.
