Pirates and fans donate and deliver hurricane supplies to Puerto Rico



Gotta say it really surprised me that he would come up with the idea just as Puerto Rican Joey Cora and Cervelli were doing the same thing. Hats off to Bob Nutting for his efforts and willingness.



Now if he would make all the suffering fans in the Burgh happy and sell the team!!!

I don't know if other teams did this or not but it's a pretty impressive act.

I wish he would sell too, but I wish he would realize from the support shown by so many Pirate fans during this two day donation drive for Puerto Rico that there is a great passion for the Bucs. Some people may have donated who were not Pirate fans , but many made the trip to PNC Park because the Pirates were behind this drive, and because of the legacy of the Great Roberto. My wish would be that ownership would make the resources available to bring the World Series back to Pittsburgh.
