Congrats to former Pirate, Charlie Morton! I liked him as a Bucco and am happy to see him succeed with the Astros. Tip of the cap to Charlie!

Beat'em Bucs 8-)

I liked Charlie as well when he was with the Bucs, but man was he tough to watch pitch. He would be maddening at times.

Happy for him in Houston, but wish we had found this Charlie when he was here.

Is he that different though? He had four good innings, which he had done plenty of times here.

A lot of Pirates players and employees are tweeting about Morton and how great it is for him. I know he made a bigger impact and got the win, but I haven't seen much for Liriano.

Greg Brown mentioned Liriano and Jerimiah Randall (head trainer) in his tweet. Is Randall Morton's personal trainer?

I'm happy for him, but I kept waiting for that "one inning" that Charlie was famous for as a Pirate. Glad it didn't happen.

He's got one more year on his deal. I hope he has a good enough 2018 that he is able to cash in on his WS success.

Part of me wanted him to give up some runs to get the fans into the game and to make it exciting. But I wanted the Astros to win and didn't want him yanked.
