Matte Struggling At Winter Ball

Marte is hitting .197 in the Dominican league and people are beginning to wonder if the PEDS which he was suspended for last season is the reason why he played well in the past,and now he is not doing well. PEDS or not Marte has had his flaws with swinging at very bad pitches as well as poor base running intelligence. I know I am in the minority, but the Pirates should be open to any trade discussion they receive concerning Marte. If the right package was offered I would move Marte this offseason.

Just one thing you and most of us forget is that if Marte is an example of PEDs working well and he becomes toast if goes off them then what would be a reasonable deal for him. I doubt anyone would want him if his is going to suck like he did the last half of 2017 and this winter.



So if they have no one better to send out there just keep him, play him and hope that PEDs were not the cause of his initial success.
