To Everyone at OBN:



I wanted to wish Everyone here the best of everything in the coming new year! It's been a pure pleasure reading the insights and opinions expressed on this forum in 2017. May it be a year of peace, good health and successful creativity for you all. Oh, and maybe against all odds somehow the Pirates will make us feel like it's 1979 again!

For me, it has been a fun first year on the OBN Board. Although I have always been a completely devoted fan of the Pirates, the advent of the internet has allowed all of us to follow the team at levels inconceivable prior to that.



Yet joining OBN has me feeling more invested in this team than ever. Maybe we should invite Bob Nutting to join??

Happy New Years to all at OBN. A thank you to the administrators of this site. It is great to read about the Bucs year round and hopefully 2018 will be a special year for Pirate fans.

Thanks fjk for the compliment. But it is the posters on OBN that make it work. We just sit here and make sure the site is running and to try and keep things under control.



I think I can speak for the Admins that we wish all the members of the OBN family a prosperous year in 2018 despite what the Bucs might accomplish.
