major start in the minors

After the first weekend of minor league ball, I was impressed with the piecemeal reports of the starting pitching. I decided to accumulate some of the top performances. Here are 10 of the 14 starts to date:
IP H ER BB K
WV MacGregor 5.1 4 1 1 12
BR Escobar 5 3 1 0 3
BR Wallace 5 4 1 1 2
BR Vera 5 3 1 1 5
AL Keller 6 2 0 2 8
AL Waddell 5.2 4 1 1 7
AL Agrazal 6 0 0 3 2
AL Brubaker 5 4 1 2 8
IN Eppler 5.2 6 0 1 10
IN Kingham 5 1 0 3 10
TOTALS 53.2 31 6 15 67
Combined, the results yielded a WHIP of 0.86, an ERA of 1.01, and K/BB ratio of 4.47. Mike Wallace didn’t actually start his game—he started the 2nd inning after a long rain delay.
That will be a tough pace to maintain, but that is one impressive start.
