Sunday afternoon vs. Reds

Well, this is a big one. During the 8 straight series losses, the Pirates played horribly but were somehow never swept. That limited the overall damage.
And that's important. Because just one series sweep (of 3-0) can completely cancel out 3 series losses (of 1-2).
The Pirates have that chance today.
Unfortunately, it's Sunday, vs. a left-hander, and S-Rod hasn't played in a while. And our poor boys have been forced to play two games in a row, and they haven't been able to "rest" since Thursday! Hurdle will need to give several guys a day-off as a result.
So I'm guessing S-Rod at SS. And it's Polanco's turn to start ahead of the 3 outfielders who are all better than he is.
