I am not a big user of fangraphs but like to look at their prospect descriptions. Today I looked at its stats for the current Pirate team.



I don't understand its team totals for offense and defense.



It lists total offense as -21.3 WAR with -5.7 on defense and a total WAR of 9.1



I don't see how the total is a positive number.



For pitching the Bucs team totals are 6.2 WAR
