A few notes on the season.

Gonzalez didn't get to play much but set career highs in PAs, ABs and hits.
Frazier has now hit .276, .277 and .278 the last 3 years. Career BA is .279. That's consistency.
Moran repeated his 2018 BA of .277. His 80 RBIs trailed only Bell and Marte. But his HR season of 11 and 13 these past 2 years leaves something to be desired for a corner infielder.
Newman and Reynolds had outstanding rookie seasons. Newman was supposed to sit on the bench with Gonzalez at SS until Gonzalez broke his collarbone. Reynolds was supposed to spend the year in AAA until Marte got hurt colliding with Gonzalez.
Diaz seriously regressed both at bat and behind the plate.
Stallings was a pleasant surprise both at bat and behind the plate.
Osuna proved to be very useful, especially PHing.
At best, the starting pitchers were inconsistent. At worst they were horrible.
Steven Brault is a heck of a hitter.
Other than the currently jailed Vazquez, the BP ranged from inconsistent to consistently horrible. An entire minor league system was unable to provide even 1 adequate arm for the MLB club.
The next great pitching hope-Kingham-washed out of both the Pirate and Blue Jay organizations.
The next great pitching hope-Keller-showed occasional flashes but wasn't much better than Kingham.
